The Team

The Finance team are based at our Cwmbran HQ and are the backbone of our business, providing support across the UK and Europe to enable seamless transactions with our customers and managing essential processes for our employees, such as payroll and expenses. 

The Role

Ideally the new Purchase Ledger Specialist will be based from our Cwmbran office with the rest of the team. 

The PL Specialist will oversee the Purchase Ledger for our Distribution (hardware) business, ensuring all vendors are paid in a timely manner, to ensure excellent continuing relationships with them.

You will be responsible for processing all invoices promptly onto the system and ensuring they are allocated accurately and completely. You will also be expected to report to your line leader or management on any ongoing/outstanding issues.

You will report to the Management Accountant for our Distribution business and will attract an annual salary of circa £25.000.

What will you be doing?

• To process all supplier invoices on to NetSuite immediately
• To ensure correct information is held in fields e.g., the invoice description on NetSuite, dates etc.
• To ensure the correct department is allocated to the correct Country/ Branch
• To resolve all outstanding queries, and escalate where necessary to the Management Accountant (Distribution)
• To update and oversee the Supplier Queries log and escalate to the Commercial Team in readiness for weekly review.
• To provide the Finance Controller with a bimonthly supplier payment list for authorisation
• Review of ledger for unallocated cash/unclaimed credit notes; provide relevant information to Management Accountant (Distribution) for sign off.
• Maintain memos on NetSuite for any invoice queries, invoice requests.
• Process all authorised payments on to Banking system.
• Reconcile all Purchase Ledger accounts (except Poly) for sign off by Management Accountant (Distribution)
• To work with Management Accountant (Distribution) to provide any accruals for month end.
• To support Dropship report process
• To oversee the “Invoice distribution” email address

Ideal candidate will have...

• Experience of overseeing a Purchase Ledger - Required
• Multi-currency experience  - Ideally
• Experience of Oracle Netsuite - Ideally
  
• Experience of Technology/UC industry
